I had just come home from Camp Esperanza (A camp for children who are currently undergoing treatment and survivors), on July 31, 2017 my mom received a call that I had relapsed. Both types of leukemia had returned and we had to start all over again with 2 month long AML chemotherapy treatments. It was one of the most difficult moments when my parents had to explain to me that my cancer was back and I would have to go back to the hospital.  I was really looking forward to going back to school, but that wasn’t going to happen.
