I won!

I am about to mark one year post-Bone Marrow Transplant, and that’s a huge milestone to reach. I started the 6th grade and I love school- it makes the day go by pretty fast. I get to hang out with my friends and play outside, just like I used to before this whole journey began.

What felt like a never-ending battle finally came to a great end.  All the things that life had thrown at me had not beaten me because I had won. Though the battle is over, we continue to fight for others still on the battlefield. We made a promise to help others in need and to bring awareness to the lack of funding for pediatric cancer research.
